3) Danny Rose

Probably one of the most underrated Spurs players about these days and more than warranted his call up to the England squad, despite having to unfortunately withdraw through injury. Rose has had his doubters in the past, including myself, however his performances this season have started to become recognised these past few months and he has transformed his game, turning into a consistent and reliable left back.

For me, he has had a considerably better season than the likes of Shaw and Baines, and with Baines now heading towards the wrong side of 30, Rose will be up against Shaw and Gibbs for a starting place. However, should he continue to work hard and develop under the watchful eye of Mauricio Pochettino, then I am truly confident he can nail down a place. He has shown what he is about this season, and it’s been nothing but positive.
