Report: Premier League star ‘pushing for move’ Spurs keen to seal deal this month

Tottenham have been boosted in their attempt to sign one of the best players in the Premier League so far this season.

Tottenham’s season has so far been quite steady. With high points, like qualifying from the Champions League group stages to a home defeat against Aston Villa – it’s certainly a rollercoaster being a Spurs fan right now.

And boss Antonio Conte has made no secret about his desire for more signing this month.

According to the Evening Standard, Spurs are keen to get a deal done for Brighton forward Leandro Trossard this month.

Their efforts to sign Trossard have taken a huge boost today after the 28-year-old stormed out of Brighton training and his representatives have said he wants to leave the club.

The new Brighton boss, De Zebri, has also gone public saying: “I told him I don’t like his attitude. The session before last game, when he understood he wasn’t playing, he left the session without telling me anything.”

Whilst Tottenham already have an array of attacking options, Trossard’s ability to play as a number 9 could really appeal to boss Antonio Conte.

With just 18 months left on his Brighton contract and given the circumstances, Trossard could be available for a reasonable fee.

He is valued at 30million euros on transfermarkt and has scored 7 Premier League goals this season.
