4) Moussa Sissoko is worth nowhere near the £30m investment

What a shocker of a performance this was from the £30m man. The Frenchman seemed to lack ideas for most of the evening, pulling out of tackles, and developed this inability to beat a man down the line without a bit of luck on his side.

Our record signing played the wrong passes at the wrong passes, and was one of the worst players on the pitch from start to finish. He was dreadful. There were indications on transfer deadline day that the signing of Sissoko in the last knockings of the summer transfer window that Sissoko was a bit of a panic buy. He has proved to be exactly that so far this season.

The Frenchman has hardly been involved for Spurs this season, and when he has been involved, he has looked at best, a very average player. The elbow on Harry Arter has been the only thing he has done at Spurs worth mentioning. I expect much more from Sissoko once his ban has expired.
