5) Mauricio Pochettino

After a difficult start to his Spurs managerial career, Mauricio Pochettino has started to build a cohesive unit for the future that we as fans hope will propel Spurs to future success. The style has has implemented means that this Spurs team will fight till the end of finish as high in the league as they can. The overall fitness of the squad means that late on in games we can continue to press, probe and wear the opposition down until we score a goal.

This has been demonstrated many a time over the course of this season by late goals scored by Harry Kane and especially Christian Eriksen, goals which have won us games and points putting us into a position where Champions League qualification is still possible. It is to Pochettino’s credit that he stuck with his hard training methods despite criticism from some sections of our support at the beginning of the season , as we are now reaping the rewards.

With Pochettino as manager, for the first time in a while it feels like every supporter has a manager and team they can get behind, and this level of support and belief means that Pochettino will be determined to fulfil his promise that he made at the start of the season, to make us as Spurs fans proud.
