3) Kind fixture list

Considering what could have been, the fixtures Spurs still have to play can be considered a positive. After our next match, a crunch game against Manchester United that will no doubt have a big say on each clubs chances of making the top four, Spurs face four teams in the bottom half of the table, with three of them, Burnley, Aston Villa and Leicester, occupying the bottom four.

We all know that Spurs are rarely reliable when it comes to games they should win, but if those games go the way they should, then the crunch clashes against Southampton and Manchester City we should enter full of confidence. Despite the fixture list not looking especially easy, we have already played Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool twice, and we have proved that this season there is new mentality when it comes to playing against the big teams , meaning there should be no fear going into any of our remaining games.

The likes of Manchester United meanwhile, face a much tougher fixture list including Chelsea and City. Spurs have a real chance of putting a run together if we get a result against United at Old Trafford.
