3 – Mario Mandzukic
Tottenham decided to invest in Vincent Janssen in the summer and whilst I think the lad certainly has talent, he is not ready to make the difference just yet. Even when Harry Kane is fit, I think Spurs need a striker that can make the difference right now. Mandzukic is an experienced and versatile front man that has scored wherever he goes.
With Juventus boasting a wealth of attacking talent including the likes of Gonzalo Higuain and Dybala, Mandzukic’s game time is limited and aged 30 he may be tempted by a chance to play in the Premier League and also feature more regularly. With 74 caps for Croatia, he is the definition of a seasoned striker and he would guarantee the club at least 15 goals in a full season.
