Manchester United may need the Champions League more, but Tottenham want it more. Since the last time the club was in Europe’s most elite competition, the club has been clambering for a return. Players like Harry Kane and Ryan Mason who saw the glory nights of Inter Milan and AC Milan at the lane and want to create their own piece of history alongside players like Christian Eriksen and Hugo Lloris.
The fans want it. The players want it. The club wants it. The drive that was shown in games such as Chelsea and Arsenal at home and the passion shows how much it would mean to the club to reach the pinnacle of Europe.
Hopefully, by the end of Sunday evening, the fans will see how much a victory can bring to a season and how the run in for the top four can spur on this Spurs team to possibly put themselves into the Tottenham Hotspur history books.
