2) Playing Style
This season, both teams have had to adapt to different style of play, and arguably Spurs have adapted a lot quicker and better than their northern counterparts. Pochettino influenced the younger talents of the team to embrace their style and introduce a new fitness regime, whilst Van Gaal has chopped and changed his line up and formation, and probably doesn’t even know his best starting eleven.
This could prove to be vital as Spurs’ line up is settled and strong, barring injuries change the line up, whereas United could play any team, with the hope that maybe they can get a result.
