Report: Conte wants Spurs to sign £94.5m-rated Serie A duo

New manager Antonio Conte and Director of Football Fabio Paratici could combine to be an excellent pair for Tottenham in the transfer market.

This January, the club will attempt to bring two of the best players in Serie A to the club. That is Franck Kessie and Dusan Vlahovic, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport

Kessie will see his contract expire at AC Milan at the end of the season and Spurs appear to be at the front of the list to sign the Ivorian. He will be allowed to sign a pre-contract with foreign clubs from January 1, and Spurs may even try to bring him in in January by giving Milan a small fee. Kessie would be a great signing and his physicality would make him a good fit for the Premier League.

Spurs could benefit from another poor contract situation with Vlahovic. The powerhouse forward has just 1.5 years left on his contract and Fiorentina have said they will not be extending the contract of the 21-year-old. You’d think that would mean they will want to cash in as soon as possible, opening the door for Tottenham in January.

With 8 goals in 11 appearances in Serie A this season, interest in Vlahovic will be big though and despite his contract situation, he is still likely to cost a significant amount.

Fans will hope that the club manage to sign the likes of Kessie and Vlahovic whilst keeping hold of key players like Harry Kane.

With a world-class manager and some major signings coming in, Spurs season could be about to turn a major corner.
