2 – Vincent Janssen
The 23-year-old is of course still young and he has time to improve and adapt, but he has never really looked like a Pochettino player. The reality is if Tottenham are to compete in the Premier League and Champions League seriously, then they need to have a better back up to Kane than Janssen. At his age I cannot see him wanting to be third choice striker, so the obvious solution appears to be to sell him and upgrade. Janssen netted just 2 Premier League goals and 2 assists last season, though he only started 7 games and but he came off the bench 20 times and failed to make the difference enough.
Spurs are said to be willing to listen to offers for Janssen, and Marseille are reportedly eyeing a £17million permanent move for the Dutchman. The player must also be keen for a change of scenery ahead of the new season as he will not want his career to stagnate in London.
