The Dutchman failed to hit the ground running and live up to his billing in his debut season in the Premier League. He scored just six goals in all competitions, only two coming from open play.

With Spurs looking set to sign Fernando Llorente for around £15m, Janssen could find that his time at Tottenham has come to a premature end. The striker admitted he is not happy with his situation at Spurs, and will be distraught with his situation now with the arrival of Llorente.

However, he has a couple of options. West Brom and Stoke are interested in taking the Dutch striker on a permanant deal to end his Tottenham nightmare. Daniel Levy could be about to play another absolute blinder as a deal that would see Janssen move to West Brom, who are in pole position to sign him, be worth up to £23m, which would be £6m more than Spurs paid last year.
