Kovacic & 3 New Signings Start: How Tottenham Could Line-Up Next Season

RB: Jeremy Toljan

Kieran Trippier is likely to start the season as the clubs right back, but as the season goes on, Toljan, who could be set to join from Hoffenheim for less than £5million could provide real competition to Trippier. Toljan, a Germany Under-21 international, is out of contract at Hoffenheim at the end of the season. He’d be very cheap, on minimal wages and Pochettino is said to be a fan. Better than nothing, but better than Trippier? Unlikely. If Toljan signed it looks as if it would be as a back up.

CB: Toby Alderweireld

Alderweireld is one of Tottenham’s key players, and he was an absolute steal for just over £10million last summer. With the way the market is at the moment, I would expect he could command a fee in excess of £30million at the moment. But to this Tottenham team he is pretty much priceless.

CB: Jan Vertonghen

LB: Danny Rose

Walker may have gone, but Rose is going nowhere, despite interest from the likes of Manchester United in his services. The Englishman has improved rapidly under Pochettino and is now one of the clubs most important players.
