Harry Winks- 5

As good as he was on Saturday, for Pochettino to start Winks in a must-win Champions League game was a huge mistake. He looked solid in the first half, but he more or less disappeared in the second, and didn’t look up to the task.

Mousa Dembele- 5

Not quite the performance we come to expect these days from Dembele. He gave away too many fouls and we saw him lose the ball more often than usual. Must do better.

Victor Wanyama- 5

Much the same as Dembele. He didn’t play to the best of his ability. Nowhere near good enough tonight, and these types of performances can’t continue

Dele Alli- 4

Very ineffective. The only two things of note that Alli did were get brought down for the penalty, and miss a decent chance at the end of the game. Not good enough.

Heung-min Son- 3

Terrible. That is the only way I can describe Son’s performance. He should have score just six minutes in and had other opportunities to play teammates through during the game. One of his worst performances in a Spurs shirt.

Harry Kane- 5

Looked very isolated. He did score his fourth goal in three games though, but little does it matter now. He lacked service and Spurs paid the full price. Very ineffective

Subs

Christian Eriksen- 4

Looked okay at best when he came on. That magic is still missing from his set pieces. And Spurs could have done with a good delivery or two towards the end of the game.

Vincent Janssen- 4

Held the ball up well once again and worked hard as he always. Picked out Eriksen with an excellent ball. But did he have a massive impact on the game? You would have to say no.

Moussa Sissoko- 3

I groaned when Sissoko came on! He lived up to my billing as well. His passing was shocking, when Spurs looked like they had a chance to break, he slowed the game down. Another shocking display.
