2) Make runs off Janssen
It is very disappointing and frustrating to watch at the moment. As much ability as Vincent Janssen has, being able to hold the ball up with great effectiveness, he just is not getting the support. He could hold the ball up for as long as he likes, but he is mainly only limited to a simple pass to feet in terms of laying the ball off.
On Sunday, I would like to see the Spurs midfield get up and support Janssen. Whether this means making runs in behind the defence for Janssen to attempt or look for a little lay off to run onto and take a shot on, Janssen must get more support up top.
The Dutch summer signing has bags of ability, but he is being left isolated playing up front on his own way too often. He needs more support, and once the Spurs midfield give him this support, Janssen cannot pose a major threat to defences that I feel he can do.
