3-4-1-2 Again! Tottenham Team News And Predicted Line-Up To Face West Ham

CDM: Victor Wanyama

Wanyama has been in good form recently, and has welcomed the partnership of Mousa Dembele in the middle of the park. The summer signing continues to make some strong tackles and provides an excellent shield for the defensive line behind him.

CDM: Mousa Dembele

The Belgian was outstanding in the game against Arsenal, and thoroughly deserved his Man of the Match award. He broke up the way well in midfield, and his run from midfield into the box to win the penalty was world class. He is such in an important part of the Spurs team, and should start here.

RWB: Kyle Walker

You get the feeling that Spurs will not have to do as much defending as they did in the Arsenal game, but even then Walker still found ways to cause trouble down the right. The England international will not struggle to do exactly the same here, using his pace to beat players and create chances.

LWB: Danny Rose

As well as Walker, Rose relishes being given the license to play higher up the pitch and bomb down the left-hand side. He cause problems against Arsenal, and should be able to do the same here.

CAM: Christian Eriksen

The Dane played really well against Arsenal a couple of weeks ago. He created quality chances and could have in fact go onto win the game himself. He played excellently in the centre, and should be deployed there once again.

ST: Heung-min Son

Son started up alongside Kane at the Emirates, and I expect that he will play a similar role, but playing just behind Kane. He used his pace to look to break at every opportunity, but I think that he will have to use the skillful part of his game to break open the West Ham defence.

ST: Harry Kane

Harry Kane didn’t return from injury quietly. As well as scoring the penalty to secure a point against Arsenal, he played extremely well, and had a positive effect on the whole team. His return is key to Spurs’ success and should start again up top here.
