3-4-1-2 Again! Tottenham Team News And Predicted Line-Up To Face West Ham

Spurs go into a crucial London derby is desperate need of a win, having not won since October 2 following a 2-0 win over Manchester City. The clash with struggling West Ham comes at the start of a crucial week or so for Spurs.

The game against Slavan Bilic’s men is proceeded by a trip to Monaco in a must-win Champions League clash, and then the Llilywhites must go to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea, who have been in excellent form of late.

Spurs did have some concerns regarding injuries going into this one, but Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that Erik Lamela, Toby Alderweireld and Ben Davies are out and that Dele Alli is a doubt. It was previously feared that in addition to this, Christian Eriksen and Mousa Dembele would also miss out.

Here is your Spurs predicted line-up.

GK: Hugo Lloris

The Frenchman has been in terrific form this season, making some crucial saves. Talks may have stalled on the new contract front, but he will still be one of the first names on the teamsheet.

CB: Eric Dier

Spurs reverted to a back three in the game against Arsenal in the North London derby just a couple of weeks ago. You have to say that the change was a success in that particular game, and I have a feeling that Pochettino might look to utilise the back three again here.

CB: Kevin Wimmer

The Austrian has hardly been involved this season, and marked his first Premier League start with an own goal in the derby. Not a great way to get underway in the Premier League for the season. With Toby Alderweireld out, Wimmer could be asked to step in once again.

CB: Jan Vertonghen

Vertonghen is on the verge of signing a new deal with Spurs, and this is excellent news. The Belgian has really stepped up since the injury of Alderweireld, and I expect another solid defensive performance here.
