2 – Another Forward
Son might be excelling in that role at the moment, but go back a couple of months and people wanted him sold. I still feel to compete on all fronts, Spurs would benefit from bringing in a proven goalscorer on a short term deal. I’m sure Janssen will become a top player, but for the moment I don’t believe he can lead our line. Kane is great, but can go through poor spells and get injured and who knows how long Son will play like he is currently. Both Janssen and Kane are players who traditionally like to link with the midfield and drop back a bit and Son is naturally a midfielder. With that in mind, buying a proven out-and-out number 9 would certainly be beneficially and round off Totttenham’s attacking options. Exactly who that is, I’m not sure, comment with your thoughts below.
