The England international scored an outstanding 25 goals last season for Spurs, but was unable to carry that form into Euro 2016 in France, and has not yet found the form from last season this term in domestic football for Tottenham.

The 23-year-old has scored two goals for Spurs this campaign, but admittedly, both of these have been tap-ins from no more than six yards out. Kane is currently out injured, and we are unlikely to see him back in action leading the line until the middle of November, or in just under a month’s time to face Arsenal at the earliest.

Harry is recovering in America, and this injury could in fact be a blessing in disguise for Kane. There have been many reports that he is suffering from burnout, and a month or two out could well work in his favour and give him the rest he needs. Hopefully he will be back fit soon and scoring goals with the ease that he did last season.
