A peripheral figure for the season before the weekend, Eriksen was back to his best against Stoke. His creative influence was vital in taking apart the home side and crucially he made 2 assists. Interestingly he attempted 4 long balls and was accurate with 3, this highlighted his passing range and ability to influence the game. Eriksen made a huge 5 key passes on Saturday, this showed that he was back to his creative best. Perhaps in the absence of Lamela, whom had become the sides primary playmaker. Although he didn’t score himself, he took 3 shots and managed to get 2 of them on target. He also completed 2 dribbles, although he was dispossessed twice also. Eriksen was successful with 77.2% of his passes. It’s good to see Eriksen back to his best.
