2) Nacer Chadli:
Chadli has always been slightly inconsistent over his three year spell, and at the start of this season, not much has changed. He still doesn’t look like the player who can change a game with a goal or anything. One piece of skill when it matters, or even a shot on target, something he seems unable to do this season.
Chadli needs to up his game, big time, but the problem is, as it is with Walker, he has no one seriously challenging his spot. Sure, Lamela and Townsend are on the bench, but they are basically quicker, smaller versions of Chadli. Until Pritchard comes back, I don’t see Chadli leaving the first team for a while. He needs to, mainly just to re-evaluate his style, mainly to something that can make him an impact.
