2) The Youth Of The Side

The eleven that started the cup final on Sunday had a very low average age, and this is something to be very proud of. Nabil Bentaleb, who earned our Man Of The Match, played extremely well on Sunday, alongside another academy product, Ryan Mason. Danny Rose also came through the academy at Spurs, as did Harry Kane and Andros Townsend.

These have all turned out to be very good players, and for many, this has been their first secure season in the first team. Last season was plagued with the inevitability that Tim Sherwood would be sacked, and the sacking of AVB, departing in mid-December.

Next season, we will be able to give it a proper go. All of the first teamers will have a season of experience with Mauricio Pochettino under their belts, and they will be ready to claim a very high finish next year, and with a bit of luck, a trophy too.
