1) The Race For The Top Four Is On
Although a few may say I am deluded when I say this, but Spurs do still stand a chance of finishing inside the top four this season. Our next six are winnable games against Swansea, QPR, Manchester United, Leicester, Burnley and Aston Villa.
A win on Wednesday, followed up by a win on Saturday, takes us above Southampton, and into sixth spot, three points off the Champions League spots at the very least. We can take heart from the fact we have beaten Manchester United in the last two trips to Old Trafford.
The squad must bounce back and realise that the race for Champions League football could swing in our favour after a couple of good results, and Mauricio Pochettino’s fitness regime will hopefully help us to keep going right up until the end of the season in late May.
