The young academy player has proven to be a hidden gem! Although his technical side of his game needs improvement, you can’t fault the man for his commitment and high energy in the midfield area. Like we saw against Arsenal, Mason’s energetic approach in ensuring to win back the ball when lost and press did not allow Arsenal the chance to play.
If this pressure is applied against Liverpool then it will make the game a lot more even; especially now Liverpool play a heavy packed misfiled. If these roles are executed like in recent games then the game will be very even and possibly in our favour.
