2) Ryan Mason

Ryan worked tirelessly today, and appeared everywhere too. He went absolutely everywhere on the pitch in order to pick up the ball and try to make something happen. He did this time, and time again, and his touch map from the first half just shows how hard he worked in midfield.

He forced a good save from David Ospina in the first period from about thirty yards, and constantly looked to get forward, or provide that killer pass to open up the defence. It was noticeable the passion that Ryan had for this fixture.

It was an all-action performance from Ryan Mason, and is another academy product introduced into the first team by manager Mauricio Pochettino, and now has nailed down a regular first team spot.
