Nabil performed excellently for the whole ninety minutes, and worked tirelessly in the midfield, partnering Ryan Mason. The protection that the Algeria international offers allows Mason to go bombing forward knowing that the defence is very well protected.
Bentaleb played with a no-nonsense attitude on Saturday, and made quite a few important clearances to keep the scores level, or towards the end of the match, Spurs in front.
Ever since his introduction into the first team by Tim Sherwood last season, Nabil has been so consistent in the midfield, and quickly earned the trust of Mauricio Pochettino. We performed much better in the midfield against Arsenal, and you could see just how much we missed him when he was away at the African Cup Of Nations.
