If he were to leave, Harry Kane would be the only striker left at the club, which is a huge weight on one man’s shoulders, so Spurs would have to get a replacement in. Divock Origi from Liverpool is a name that has been thrown around in the past couple of days.
With the likes of Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane on fire at Anfield, Origi is finding first team opportunities hard to come by. Spurs could offer him an escape route before Thursday’s transfer deadline day, and his father has admitted that the move is a possibility. Can Daniel Levy get it done?
