2 – Wilfried Zaha
This perhaps seems like the most likely winger to sign today. Although the latest report from The Guardian is that Crystal Palace have rejected a £21million bid for Zaha, it looks like Spurs could continue to improve their offer until they come to some sort of agreement with Pardew’s men. What is concerning is that Zaha has already had one shot at a big club in Manchester United, and that didn’t end well at all – he was shipped back to Palace. But Pochettino loves working with young English players and Zaha, still just 23, could yet realise the huge potential he showed at Palace as a teenager. Whilst I’m not sure this would be the right signing at the moment, if Pochettino believes it is, then I’m 100% willing to accept it and support Wilfried should he join.
