Recent reports have said that Tottenham are looking to sign Newcastle man between the sticks Tim Krul. This may come as a surprise to some after Spurs bought another goalkeeper Michel Vorm in the summer window.
The reports coming from The Sunday People say that the North London club are interested in the Dutchman, and will be a target in case Hugo Lloris leaves the club in the summer transfer window. This could well happen if Spurs miss out on Champions League football, which is one of Lloris’ priorities, playing the Europe’s elite competition.
However, the deal looks quite unlikely now after Newcastle have slapped a massive £20m price tag on the keeper to ward off any interest that any interest from other clubs. The keeper is currently sitting on the sidelines with injury watching on, but he is also watching others clubs’ interest for him in the process.
If Tottenham miss out on Champions League football, then Hugo Lloris may seek a move to either Atletico Madrid or Read Madrid.
