Recent reports suggest that Inter Milan are readying a bid in an attempt to sign Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon, and could over a midfielder as a part of the deal with the North London club.

The winger has not been given much playing time this season, and this could be the time that Lennon finally leaves the club after a very long time at the club, after being linked with many others in previous transfer windows.

Lennon has attracted interest from many clubs, including a possible move to QPR, seeing him link up again with former manager Harry Redkanapp in London. Hull have also been looking to sign the 27 year-old. However, Andros Townsend is another potential target, if bids for Lennon fail.

It looks like Spurs want at least £7m for their longest serving player, but Inter are keen to propose a part exchange deal, offering Fredy Guarin plus some cash to take the England international to Italy and Serie A.
