Tottenham’s terrible record at Stamford Bridge continued as they lost 3-0 to Chelsea, who are still unbeaten at the top of the table. It is very fair to say that we were the better side in the opening fifteen minutes or so before Eden Hazard and Didier Drogba found a way to unlock the Spurs defence, the two linking up well before the Belgian finished off the move with a good finish. The second goal was easily avoided, and so was the third to be honest. We played well and looked to catch Chelsea on the break in the opening stages of the game. Harry Kane hit the bar early on before the hosts ran away with it. Overall, it was a decent performance from Spurs, and again, the result does not clearly tell the full story and the way that we played, just like the game against Manchester City. Here is how Twitter reacted to the loss.
We weren’t that bad. We gave them a few problems and we remain in top half of the table. Hopefully a return to winning ways vs Palace.

I’ll tell people tomorrow the score line flattered Chelsea and I’ll receive torrents of abuse from people who didn’t watch the game

Palace won’t be an easy game either but it’s certainly one we should be winning. This one, sadly, wasn’t. #COYS

Away to the best team in the country there were still lots of good signs. Hate losing but we played well for long spells.

But there were positives too – in general we looked well organised as a unit and good at keeping the ball. Individual errors to blame.

Davies and Bentaleb we’re easily our best two players for me. Eriksen was good also.

We can take positives from the game, unlike the loss to Liverpool. Need a big home performance against Palace and a 2-3 goal win. No panic.

Wasn’t that bad imo

Could have been a different story if we’d taken chances. They did -and didn’t work that hard. We move on, performance better today. #COYS
