Report: Paritici eyes £63m-rated transformational midfield signing

The transfer market is open and Tottenham and Conte will be keen to strengthen this month in order to improve their chances of a Champions League finish this season.

According to football.london, new technical director Fabio Paritici could hand Conte a serious new central midfield signing. According to their information, Conte wants to sign a new central midfielder and Patrici is targeting Serbian midfielder Milikovic-Savic.

He would not come cheap though. Valued at £63m on transfermarkt, he is one of Europe best midfielders right now and aged 26, he still has the best years ahead of him.

It wouldn’t be an easy signing to make though, as if he were to be available, the likes of Manchester United and Juventus would be interested, according to the Daily Mail.

Savic could be a key addition for Spurs. He plays from a deep position, so would fit into a 343 or 352 formation, but crucially he delivers goals and assists, something Tottenham’s current set of central midfielders are not able to do. He’s already notched up 7 goals and 7 assists in 19 league games for Lazio this season.

Could the acquisition of Milinkovic-Savic also help Spurs in their quest for fellow Serbian Dusan Vlahovic? Vlahovic is being courted by a number of top European club, and Milinkovic-Savic has spoken very highly of him.

Any Serie A link seems to have some weight to it since Paritici arrived at Spurs. Would you like Tottenham to continue targeting that division, or are more Premier League prepared players your preference?
