Player Ratings: Tottenham 2–0 Dinamo Zagreb

Tottenham took significant steps in their quest for a Europa League quarter-final spot with a two-goal victory over Dinamo Zagreb on Thursday night.

It was a fairly dominant performance throughout from Mourinho’s men, with Harry Kane scoring a brace with a goal about halfway through both halves.

Kane’s first came after a brilliant solo run from Erik Lamela saw his shot deflect back off the post and into the path of Kane, who tapped in the empty net.

The second came from Aurier, who had been brilliant all night. His dangerous first-time cross was misjudged by the Zagreb central defender, allowing Kane to finish efficiently.

Man of the match: Harry Kane has to get this due to his decisive two goals, but the performance of Serge Aurier deserves a mention, he was excellent.

Flop of the match: Nobody was particularly bad, but I’ll have to give this one to Heung Min Son, he failed to have the type of impact he would’ve liked in this game.
