Eriksen has been previously linked with a move to Old Trafford with Manchester United, and these rumours have now been put to bed with the Dane saying that he will not move away this summer.

Although the former Ajax man has been somewhat inconsistent over the course of last season, he has come up with moments of magic at crucial times, Hull away, Swansea away and Sheffield United away to name a few.

The Danish international has earned a reputation for scoring goals in the final five minutes of games, and the news that the midfielder will be staying at Spurs will be greeted with a good reaction for sure. Eriksen has scored twelve goals this season, and is a very valuable asset to Spurs.

“I feel right at home at Tottenham. I haven’t thought about leaving yet.

“I still have three years on my current deal so I’m not in a big rush to leave the club.”
