Unfortunately, Spurs fell to a crushing 3-0 defeat to Stoke, in what was a truly awful performance by most on the pitch at the Britannia Stadium.

Spurs were under pressure right from the off and it was no surprise when Stoke took the lead. Jan Vertonghen accidently flicked on a cross from the right, and Charlie Adam was at the back post to head into the net.

Stoke’s lead was doubled after a defensive mix-up between Eric Dier and Hugo Lloris, the ball fell to Steven N’Zonzi, who made no mistake in slotting the ball into the corner.

Spurs’ woes were added to just five minutes into the second half when Vlad Chiriches was given his marching orders for a second bookable offence.

It was three towards the end of the second period when Mame Biram Diouf made a run to the front post to turn it into the back of the net at the front post.

We all know that the players put in poor performances, but just how bad? You can rate the players out of ten by clicking the link below.
