Tottenham will be looking to bounce back from a midweek Premier League defeat 3-0 to Chelsea when they face Crystal Palace at White Hart Lane. Spurs played well on Wednesday, however, it was disappointing to fail to hit the back of the net as we had the ball 61%of the time at Stamford Bridge. This is the team news and predicted line-up.

Team News:

Mauricio Pochettino could field a similar line-up to the one that played Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, with many players that were out for that game, still out. Emmanuel Adebayor is out with a virus, Kyle Walker is still recovering from his long-term injury.   Kyle Naughton could be out for a fourth consecutive match, whilst Ben Davies could start at left-back due to the potential absence of Danny Rose. Andros Townsend is also a doubt along with Etienne Capoue and Vlad Chiriches.

Predicted Lineup (4-4-2):

Goalkeeper: Hugo Lloris:

Despite a horror mistake from the Frenchman to give Chelsea a second goal, I expect Hugo to pick himself up and return to top form again that he has shown for the whole of the season.

Defence: Eric Dier, Jan Vertonghen, Federico Fazio, Ben Davies:

I said a couple of weeks ago that our right-back problem would be sorted, but that is clearly not the case! It is not ideal that we are starting Dier at right-back, but we will just have to deal with this until Walker and Naughton return. Jan Vertonghen made the mistake leading up to the third goal, but like Hugo, I think that he will pick himself up. This is a good chance for Ben Davies to prove himself to Mauricio Pochettino again if Danny Rose is not passed fit.

Midfield:  Christian Eriksen, Ryan Mason, Nabil Bentaleb, Aaron Lennon:

I feel that we should start the same midfield as we did last Sunday against Everton due to the sheer effectiveness of it. Eriksen played very well last week and showed his defensive abilities, tracking back down the left side on numerous occasions. Despite Ryan not performing to his usual levels in midweek, Bentaleb had an excellent game. I expect the two to start in the middle of the park again tomorrow. They are both full of passion and hunger, the perfect ingredients to earn a starting place under our Argentine boss.

Strikers: Roberto Soldado, Harry Kane:

Again, the same pairing up front as against Everton. Roberto Soldado will be full of confidence after his goal last week, and I am sure that he understands why he was left on the bench against Chelsea. Harry Kane is also in excellent form and looked our best chance of scoring on Wednesday, winning the ball back as a result of high pressing.
