2 – Dele Alli
I think some fans will hold his red card tackle against him for a while, and rightly so. This showed a weakness in Alli’s game – and it cost his team at the pivotal moment. Had he stayed on the pitch I think Spurs would still be in Europe. But he bounced back against Stoke.
Alli completed 82% of his passes and scored another goal as he continued his purple patch in the Premier League. The amount of goals Alli is scoring is really reassuring and helps take the pressure off of Kane’s shoulders.
To get to the next level, Alli must perform like this more frequently.
