When Tottenham travel to the coast this weekend, they will be expecting a tough challenge at the very least. Southampton have proven throughout the season that they can really perform when needed, which they showed against Manchester United and Arsenal, and Spurs should be wary of the threat that the Saints can pose.
A win for Southampton will put them 5th (at least until Liverpool play) and above Tottenham for that matter. However, were Southampton to lose this weekend, then maybe the dream, however unlikely it was, of the Champions League will disappear.
