Off the back of an impressive 5-3 win at White Hart Lane over Chelsea, Tottenham were full of confidence at the start of the game at Turf Moor, despite Mauricio Pochettino naming a much changed team prior to the kick-off. A very poor first half saw neither side register a single shot on target. The game improved in the second half, mainly due to the introduction of Harry Kane, and it wasn’t long until Nacer Chadli fired Spurs in front, only for the goal later to be cancelled out by Sam Vokes. Spurs fans were left angered as they saw their side let a lead slip, but more so about the fact that Tottenham will have to play yet another game in what is already a very tight schedule for Mauricio Pochettino’s side. Although a date has not been confirmed, it has been said by Burnley that a likely date is 14th January. Here is how Twitter reacted to the draw.
