Today was a very good day for Argentine Erik Lamela bagged his first Premier League goal for Tottenham, the first of many hopefully! He cut inside and shot from twenty-five yards to win the game for Spurs and although it took him over 1500 minutes, it was just about worth waiting for. Harry Kane also bagged another goal as his continues his excellent form since his introduction to the first team by head coach Maurico Pochettino. This is how Twitter reacted to our Christmas win.

This was our last home game before Christmas Day, and the celebrating will have to be over quick for the players as they face a tough trip to Leicester on Boxing Day (or Football Day if you work for BT), before we are back at the Lane to face Louis Van Gaal’s Manchester United, making that our last game of 2014. New Years Day sees us face Chelsea.
