Tottenham have had a very active window and they are set to conclude another significant deal before the deadline, according to the latest reports.
Tottenham have been searching for a new right-back all summer, with links to the likes of Tomiyasu – but the club have now reached an agreement to sign the highly-rated Barcelona defender Emerson Royal in a deal worth around £25million, according to the reliable journalist, Fabrizio Romano.
Emerson is a very highly rated right back with strong defensive qualities as well as having the stamina to get into the opposition box and cause problems.
Unlike many modern-day full-backs, Emerson stands at nearly 6ft tall, whilst still possessing exceptional physical attributes which help him play the role so well. Physicality is always an attribute that is highlighted when foreign imports come to the Premier League, and Emerson looks to be a player who would tick all the boxes, and naturally adapt to the physical demands of the Premier League.
This deal will likely mean that one of Serge Aurier or Matt Doherty will be allowed to leave the club before the deadline in a little over 24 hours time.
