‘100% done’ Spurs set to complete sensational double deal

Tottenham seem to have taken the loss to Everton pretty seriously.

Despite making some shrewd Premier League signings already this summer, Daniel Levy is set to kick it up a gear with two huge signings.

Levy has again been in negotiations with Real Madrid. Following the long history between the two clubs that has seen the likes of Luka Modric and Gareth Bale exchanged, that relationship is now set to see Spurs benefit.

According to reliable Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Spurs are set to bring Bale back to the club on a one year loan. And as if that wasn’t enough, the club are also set to sign left-back Reguilon, also from Real Madrid.

This comes after the BBC reported yesterday that a deal for Bale was on the verge of completion.

Sky Sports have also confirmed that Reguilon to Spurs is a done deal, with a medical in Madrid set to take place today. The likes of Manchester United had been said to be interested in Reguilon and so it is some coup for Spurs to land the left back who was named best in his position in La Liga last season.

The deal for Reguilon is likely to include a buy-back clause for Madrid should they choose to activate it. But the Spanish club are currently well stocked in that position with Marcelo and Ferland Mendy.
