3. Vincent Janssen
He’s so far down the pecking order now that he didn’t even get off the bench for Tottenham against Gent when they were in desperate need of an away goal. Now I have a bit more sympathy for Janssen due to his relatively young age (22). He’s come from the Dutch league, where he scored lots of goals, but he cannot fathom any kind of goalscoring rhythm in London. Janssen is starting to look more Ryan Babel than Luis Suarez. Due to his potential I would favour a loan move. If a lower league Premier League club would take him, that would be great as he could hopefully build his confidence and get used to the league. Next season Pochettino needs to ensure he brings in an experienced goalscorer – maybe even a return for Jermaine Defoe?
