Player Ratings: Chelsea 2-1 Spurs

Victor Wanayma- 7

I thought he was one of the better players on the pitch, and that is certainly true for the first period. He put in some strong tackles and played the ball around nicely. A solid display from him.

Mousa Dembele- 6

A good first half display, but he did let himself down a bit in the second. I am still amazed at how well he can keep hold of the ball, but he gave possession away too many times today.

Dele Alli- 5

Made a strong run and lay-off to set up Eriksen for the goal. However, he disappeared for large parts of the game, and this needs to change if Spurs are to hit top form again this season.

Christian Eriksen- 7

It was an excellent strike from the Danish international in the first half. He had a solid game otherwise, but there is still room for improvement. This was much better though from Eriksen.

Heung-min Son- 6

Recovered well from a car-crash performance in Moanco on Tuesday night. He provided the width for the team in the first half, and worked really well for the team.

Harry Kane- 6

Kane was deprived of one of those one-on-one situations that he loves. He was limited in terms of chances, but forced a good save from Courtois in the first half. With what he had to work with, he had a good game.

Subs

Harry Winks- 6

Another strong display from the youngster in what has been a crazy week for him. He moved the ball around like he had years of experience playing the Premier League.

Georges-Kevin N’Koudou- 5

Was brought on to add a bit of pace, and did get in behind after a good bit of skill, but the cross, or lack of it, was very poor

Vincent Janssen- N/A

Hardly had a chance to make an impact.
