3 Players Key To Tottenham If They Are To Beat Bayer Leverkusen

Off the back of an unsatisfactory 1-1 draw at West Brom on Saturday, Spurs now face a trip to Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League, aiming to make it back-to-back wins in the group stage. It will be no easy task, but here are three Spurs player that will be key if Pochettino’s men are to secure victory on Tuesday night.

Mauricio Pochettino chose not to include Son in the starting eleven to face West Brom at the Hawthorns, and it was clear to see that he was resting the South Korean in preparation for the crunch Champions League clash with his former club Bayer Leverkusen this week.

Son did make an appearance on Saturday from the bench, and appeared to have a positive impact on proceedings, although we were unable to take all three points back to London. The attacker has been on fire since his return from the Olympics, and has been terrorising defences ever since. We hope that he will do the exact same to Leverkusen on Tuesday night.

The 24-year-old has managed five goals in all competitions this season, including a crucial goal in Moscow a few weeks ago that secured our opening win of our latest Champions League adventure. If Son plays like he has been doing this season, he will cause huge problems for the Leverkusen defence.
