Player Ratings: Spurs 1-0 Sunderland – Do You Agree?

Moussa Sissoko- 5

A very quiet first start for Sissoko, he looked to bomb down the line but not with much success at all, his power will certainly be more useful when catching teams on the break.

Dele Alli- 6

Started the game in his usual position following the first-half at Wembley where he played alongside Eric Dier in defensive midfield, and certainly looks much more of a threat in this position.

Son Heung-min- 7

Many people’s man of the match, and mine as well. Looked a constant threat down the left-hand side with most of Spurs’ most dangerous attacks originating from then left-wing. Has been superb since re-installment into the starting line-up.

Harry Kane- 6

Grabbed the winning goal, and stayed calm to slot the ball into the back of the net. Looked isolated again up front but stayed patient and took his chance well when it came. Still not back to his best but let’s hope that injury isn’t too bad.

Subs:

Erik Lamela- 6

Provided a huge threat when he came on and was unlucky to see his late curled effort towards the end of the match go wide.

Ben Davies- 6

A brief appearance for the left-back, and we didn’t really so much of him when he came on in a cameo role.

Vincent Janssen- 5

Blazed a shot horribly over the bar when he had the opportunity to slip Lamela clean through. All turned out to be irrelevant in the end.
