Tottenham Transfers Round Up!

Earlier in the day, the Daily Express reported that Tottenham are ready to bid £15M for the West Brom striker, and Berahino seems keen on the move.

It would give Tottenham a lot more pace up front, and the deal could be on if Tottenham get rid of both Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado. West Brom aren’t keen on selling, but if Berahino causes a fuss about the blocking of the move, and Daniel Levy works his usual magic and completes the deal, then Tottenham would have two up and coming English strikers.

The Spurs fans have seemingly reacted well to the move, with some comparing Berahino to Jermaine Defoe, yet some have questioned Berahino’s attitude, and some are worried about what that could cause. But for now, the deal seems on, the club wants it and seemingly so does the player.

Italian newspaper La Nazione has reported that Daniel Levy is interested in a £5.5M deal to bring Fiorentina forward Josep Illcic to Spurs in the summer. The newspaper reckon that Tottenham are interested in the forward and Levy is ready to go over to Florence with Franco Baldini to wrap up the deal.

Yet again, Spurs have been linked with a striker, indicating that the club know that up front is where we need to strengthen. All these forwards linked to the club also show that Spurs are ready to finally offload the flops up front of Soldado and Adebayor, and are ready to replace them with young players who fit the Pochettino style of play.

Javier Hernandez: Express:

Earlier in the day, Tottenham were linked with a £10M deal to sign Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez after his loan spell with Real Madrid.

Tottenham are reportedly beating West Ham in the race to sign the Mexican, but nothing has emerged from the Hernandez camp on the move. Tottenham are keen on the move, and but the only stumbling block would be the wages of Hernandez.

With Hernandez on around £100,000 a week at United, a loan move with the option to buy seems the most likely option.
