Another example why Redknapp couldn’t see foreign talent. Whether or not you like Luis Suarez as a person, there is no doubt at all that he is one of the best players in Europe for the past 2 years. The season where Liverpool nearly won the league was basically because of Suarez, and if we had him and Aguero up front, we would have won the league more than once easily.
But once again, Redknapp didn’t sign Suarez for reasons that no football fan can actually understand. Its moments like this that make you question Redknapp’s ability to sign top class players. After seeing his comments about certain players recently, he probably didn’t think that Suarez and Aguero weren’t “good lads, top, top lads”.
