We’ve scored some glorious goals this season, some of them have been team goals, other have been individual moments of brilliance, we’ve taken all your votes and here are the results to name the winner of the Spurs’ Goal of the Season.
5th – Nacer Chadli vs QPR 10%
The 48 pass goal was the high point in our 4-0 demolition of QPR way back in August was a brilliant demonstration of teamwork and composure to keep play and work it slowly forwards and eventually get the ball into the net.
4th – Christian Eriksen vs Sheffield Utd 16%
Given that we needed a goal with 2 minutes to go in order for us to reach a Cup Final, the composure that Eriksen showed was incredible. To do that with that much pressure on you is the sign of a class player and what a classy goal it was too.
3rd – Eric Dier vs West Ham 18%
The winner in our opening game of the season away, instantly won the respect of a young Englishman from Lisbon. Mostly because of his composure on his debut in England to scoop it round the keeper and plant it home.
2nd – Harry Kane vs Chelsea 22%
A masterful display against easily the best side in England was appropriately capped off by a piece of brilliance from “One Of Our Own”. He turned the CB‘s inside out and finished cutely into the net to send the Tottenham faithful delirious.
1st – Erik Lamela vs Asteras Tripolis 34%
Our Club record signing decided to take this pretty meaningless match and make a moment that everyone would remember. And even if he never makes a successful career at Spurs, he will always be admired for that piece of skill.
