Tottenham striker Roberto Soldado could be heading back abroad, but this time to the Serie A with AC Milan report The Mirror.

The striker was part of the summer spending spree that took place at Tottenham in the year of 2013, with the London club shelling out around £26m to secure the services of the Spaniard.

Soldado has not had the best of times at White Hart Lane and the Spaniard has not been afraid to admit it, stating that he feels embarrassed when the Tottenham fans, and ashamed of the performances he has put in.

He has had a slightly better season this term, but he still hasn’t returned to the top form that attracted Tottenham to him.

AC Milan have shown their interest in ending Soldado’s White Hart Lane nightmare, and could take the striker on loan. However, Tottenham are refusing to play ball in this respect and will only sell him permanently if the price is right.

The striker has been limited to first team minutes in the Premier League, and he is currently considered as second choice striker behind Harry Kane, who is in fantastic form.
