‘Shocking Performance’ Fans React To 0-0 Draw With Palace

The Tottenham performance at White Hart Lane against Crystal Palace was far from pleasing in a 0-0 draw with Neil Warnock’s side. The players were booed off of the pitch and the atmosphere was not great in North-London. The reaction on Twitter was bad too, and it was weird considering we put in one of our best performances in the Mauricio Pochettino era last week at home against Everton. Many on Twitter said that the support was terrible and so was the performance. Some even went as far to say that our Argentine boss was clueless. This is how Twitter reacted to the disappointing draw.

Tottenham’s next task is a tough trip to the Liberty Stadium where they will face an in-form Swansea side. The next three games for Spurs are against Swansea, Burnley and Leiceter. It is vital that the Lilywhites take at least seven points from those games before they run into Manchester United and Chelsea over the festive period.

‘We Weren’t That Bad’: Fans React To 3-0 Loss To Chelsea

Tottenham’s terrible record at Stamford Bridge continued as they lost 3-0 to Chelsea, who are still unbeaten at the top of the table. It is very fair to say that we were the better side in the opening fifteen minutes or so before Eden Hazard and Didier Drogba found a way to unlock the Spurs defence, the two linking up well before the Belgian finished off the move with a good finish. The second goal was easily avoided, and so was the third to be honest. We played well and looked to catch Chelsea on the break in the opening stages of the game. Harry Kane hit the bar early on before the hosts ran away with it. Overall, it was a decent performance from Spurs, and again, the result does not clearly tell the full story and the way that we played, just like the game against Manchester City. Here is how Twitter reacted to the loss.

‘We Should Embrace Him’: Fans React To 2-1 Win Over Everton

Today we saw Tottenham end their poor run of form at home to see off Everton, who took the lead inside fifteen minutes. Yes, we came from behind to grab all three points again, but not in the same dramatic fashion as we did against Aston Villa and Hull away. We also saw a rare goal from Roberto Soldado, who Mauricio Pochettino has shown faith in over the last two games to start him alongside Harry Kane up front. Hopefully, this is the start of a good run of form for Soldado, who seemed to have a big spring in his step after his goal on the stroke of half-time. Here is how Twitter reacted to our win.

Next comes a crucial month. In December and the festive period, we will find out an awful lot more about Tottenham under Mauricio Pochettino. This is also a chance  for Spurs to prove themselves. In December and new year, we have Chelsea twice, Swansea away, Manchester United at home and more tough fixtures. We can send a message out to other teams over this next month.

‘He’s Improving’: Fans React To 1-0 Win Over Parizan Belgrade

Tottenham advanced to the knockout stages of the Europa League after they picked up a 1-0 win over Partizan Belgrade courtesy of a Benjamin Stambouli goal in the second half. Whilst there was praise for the summer signing, praise was also flooding in for Argentine Erik Lamela, who also put in a very promising performance. Although Roberto Soldado put in a good performance, made the runs and put in the effort, he failed to find that goal that will boost his confidence when he finds it. Here is how Twitter reacted to our 1-0 win.

Next week, we will find out an awful lot about Tottenham Hotspur  this season with life under Mauricio Pochettino. We face an in-form Everton on Sunday, and then we face a very tough trip to Stamford Bridge, where we will face unbeaten Chelsea. Whilst many will be thinking about avoiding embarrassment, some may be thinking that we should give these two fixtures a really good go.

‘Papering Over The Cracks’: Fans React To 2-1 Win Over Hull

Once again, it took a late, late show on the road to beat Steve Bruce’s Hull City. Christian Eriksen’s free-kick rebounded off the post for Harry Kane to slot into the back of the net, and then Eriksen completed the comeback in the 89th minute when he was allowed to turn an shot into the bottom corner. However, we were aided by a refereeing decision when Gaston Ramirez was controversially sent off for kicking out at Jan Vertonghen. Fans to took to Twitter after the game. This is how they reacted.

There is no doubt at all that there are problems at Tottenham. However, amid all of this, we are level on points with bitter rivals Arsenal. But we need to up our game, it is simple as that, otherwise we could be on the end of a massive thumping at the beginning of December at Chelsea. We are happy with the three points, but a lot of work has to be done.

‘Sherwood Was Right’: Fans React To 2-1 Loss To Stoke

It was another poor performance from Tottenham as they lost again after the Europa League. Two first-half goals from Stoke gave them a two-goal lead, making sure that Nacer Chadli’s sweet strike on the volley was no more than a consolation goal for Mauricio Pochettino and his side. In the aftermath of the game, our old passionate friend Tim Sherwood made a brief appearance on Twitter. During his reign at Spurs, Sherwood said many things about the squad, including that the squad lacked variation, and it was all ‘much of a muchness’. Many fans now agree with our former boss,  and now say that he has a point. Sherwood was relieved of his duties as Tottenham head coach after six months, despite holding an eighteen-month contract, a contract that nobody could picture him seeing out. The blame wasn’t put onto Mauricio Pochettino though, some put the blame on the players, and some on the team upstairs. Here is the full Twitter reaction.

‘Soldado Is Poor’: Fans React To 2-1 Win Over Asteras Tripolis

Tottenham held on for a well-earned win on Greece over Asteras Tripolis, with Harry Kane bagging yet another goal to his ever increasing tally. Whilst there was praise for the young Englishman, there is a lot of criticism heading Roberto Soldado’s way after he came on at half-time, and yet again struggled to make an impact on the match, creating little to make up for his poor form in front of goal. Paulinho was also a target for stick, whilst the sent off Federico Fazio was a point of debate. Here is how Twitter reacted to our win in Greece.

That last tweet is also a very interesting one. Does Pochettino need a couple of transfer windows to build the squad again? Does he have the right players to play the style he wants? Is the quality of our players good enough? These are all questions that are to be answered very, very soon.

‘Great To See Passion’: Fans React To 2-1 Win Over Aston Villa

Reaction was positive from a Tottenham point of view as Mauricio Pochettino’s side snatched a late win over Aston Villa at Villa Park. It took an 83rd minute goal from Nacer Chadli to cancel out a 17th minute goal from Andreas Weimann. Then Harry Kane found a late winner from a free-kick on the 90th minute to give Spurs a late three points. Many on Twitter had previously been calling for the inclusion of Harry Kane in the Premier League, and this time their prayers were answered, albeit he didn’t start the match. One fan even said that this could be the turning point in our season. This is how the fans reacted on Twitter.

Other reaction throughout the game was a number of tweets stating that Kane would have scored a fantastic chance that out of form Emmanuel Adebayor squandered in the first half when Spurs found themselves 1-0 down and searching for an equaliser.

‘Pochettino The Real Winner!’ Fans React To 2-0 Win Over Brighton

Tottenham cruised to victory at White Hart Lane, progressing to the quarter-finals with a 2-0 win over Brighton. Mauricio Pochettino made some important substitutions that changed the game as Erik Lamela and Harry Kane got the two Spurs goals. In the next phase of the Capital One Cup, Spurs face Newcastle at home. One fan claimed that Pochettino was the real winner on a night that saw his changes had a massive impact on the final outcome of the match. Here is how the fans and players on Twitter reacted to the win.

After linking up well for the goal, many fans other than Nikhil suggested that Pochettino should start the two of them together at the same time so they can link up as they did against Brighton. Other claimed that the reason for the good chemistry between the two is a result of their great friendship off the patch as well as on it.
